Before continuing to look over postings of
people in need, please read...
We would like to thank you for taking the time to see if there is a posting which you can assist. Reaching out to a
stranger in need can be an 'out of my comfort zone' type of experience, but when done, can be one of the most
rewarding things anyone can do.

When you choose your destination below, you will be directed to the page where you can choose your location. If
you see a posting you feel able to assist, simply follow the instructions found at the beginning of the posting you
want to help.

We will then send you that posters contact information within 24 hours. Usually a lot sooner.

It is then up to you to make contact with them and begin a dialogue. Make sure you feel comfortable before
proceeding and if you have any questions, you can always contact us.

Without kind hearts like yours, 2Hands does not exist and we thank you!

'I have always believed in helping others—and
while I regularly donate time/money to various
charities, 2Hands is truly the first time I really
have that ability to totally see the affect my
assistance has instantly for local families in
need. I was a little skeptical initially when I
found the site about how honest the people
posting their needs would be…but now after
having answered around 6 or 8 postings, I can
truly say my doubts have been erased.
Instead, their needs and their gratitude at
what little I can do for them is humbling-and
reminds me of how much I have to be grateful
for, and inspires me to do even more as I can.
I think as much as the assistance we give can
be helpful, knowing that there are people out
there who read their postings and care about
their situations enough to contact them and
offer help is equally if not more important.  I
have learned in the short time I have been a
friend of 2Hands how many people right next
door to me are struggling, and how easy it
could be for that to happen to any one of us.
And, I am just so grateful to the folks who have
cared enough to make this website, giving me
(and you!) the opportunity to really make a
difference in our own neighborhood.'
